This data release contains annual peak-flow data through the 2013 water year, specification and output files from flood-frequency analysis of the annual peak-flow data in USGS PeakFQ software, a GIS shapefile of the basin polygons with attributes of site information, basin characteristics, results of flood-frequency analysis, and results of B-WLS/B-GLS analysis of skewness of the annual peak flows from 183 streamflow gaging stations (streamgages) operated by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in parts of hydrologic unit 02 in eastern New York and Pennsylvania and the surrounding states of Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia. Also included is a comma-separated values...
This dataset provides watershed delineations for 1,703 U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) streamgaging stations (gages) for geospatial statistical study of peak streamflows in and near Texas. These streamgaging stations are in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico (east of the Great Continental Divide) with some of the watersheds associated with the 1,703 streamgaging stations extending into several surrounding states or into Mexico. Watershed characteristics are indexed by using the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) version 2.2.1 Indexing was accomplished by using the Permanent Identifier (PERMID; a string that uniquely identifies each feature in the NHD) and by using the USGS identification number for the streamgaging station...

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Oklahoma-Texas Water Science Center, in cooperation with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, updated basin-characteristic data for Oklahoma streams with drainage areas of less than 2,510 square miles. Basin characteristics were updated or created for 248 streamgages. The previously published Oklahoma generalized skew map, a necessary element in the development of the peak-streamflow frequencies was updated. Compared to a previous dataset described in (Lewis, 2010), this dataset incorporates an additional 9 years of annual peak-streamflow data, including 2 years when major peak-streamflows were recorded (2015 and 2017). The additional years of data collection since the publication...
