Location information of a single geochemical sample. Underlying database or publication may contain rock identification and collection information. May also contain major or trace geochemical analyses. Some locations may be found conveniently using the interactive web application.
All 335 core samples obtained from the 11 holes were analyzed for total iron content. Representative head samples, carefully prepared from the general composite, were analyzed both chemically and spectrographically. Semiquantitative spectrographic analysis revealed the presence and approximate quantities of the metal listed in table 4. Any other elements, if present, are in amounts lower than the minimum detectable by the routine technique employed.

Whole-rock major oxide analyses were performed by using atomic absorption by Bondar-Clegg. An unknown laboratory performed trace element analysis for cobalt, copper, nickel, and lead by atomic absorption. Gold, silver, cobalt, chromium, copper, and nickel content was determined by atomic absorption with results reported in ppm. The samples were preconcentrated by fire assay before being analyzed for gold, platinum, palladium, iridium, osmium, rhodium, ruthenium by inductively coupled plasma.
