Airborne geophysical surveys were conducted in the eastern Adirondacks from Dec. 7, 2015 - Dec. 21, 2015, by Goldak Airborne Surveys. The area was flown along a draped surface with a nominal survey height above ground of 200 meters. The flight line spacing was 250 meters for traverse lines and 2500 meters for control lines. Here we present downloadable magnetic and radiometric (gamma spectrometry) data from those surveys as image (Geotiff) and flight line data (csv format). This data release includes 40Ar/39Ar data from the U.S. Geological Survey for samples from Old Mine Park Area, Trumbull, Connecticut. Mineral samples were collected by Robert Wintsch and Harold Moritz. Potassium-bearing mineral grains were separated from the bulk sample and analyzed by argon geochronology at the U.S. Geological Survey Bascom ARgon Dating (BARD) Laboratory in Reston, Virginia. The data provide age constraints on units in the relevant geologic mapping area.

A comprehensive map of Quaternary faults has been generated for offshore of California. The Quaternary fault map includes mapped geometries and attribute information for offshore fault systems located in California State and Federal waters. The polyline shapefile and matching KML file have been compiled from previously published mapping where relatively dense, high-resolution marine geophysical data exist. The map compilation presents new polygon (geologic map unit contacts), line (fault, fold axis, metamorphic isograd, dike, and caldera wall) and point (structural attitude) vector data for the NTS and vicinity, Nye, Lincoln, and Clark Counties, Nevada, and Inyo County, California.
