This dataset consists of 127 wideband and 21 long-period magnetotelluric (MT) stations collected from 2016-2019 across parts of Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, Illinois, and Kentucky. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) acquired these data as part of regional investigations into the geologic and tectonic framework of the area and to support mineral resource and geologic hazard investigations. These data have been used to generate a 3D regional conductivity model of the area. Files included in this publication include measured electric- and magnetic-field time series as well as estimated impedance and vertical-magnetic field transfer functions. The data included here are for MT station rfr217 in the Reelfoot Rift survey...

This part of DS 781 presents fold data for the geologic and geomorphic map of the Offshore of Monterey map area, California. The vector data file is included in "Folds_OffshoreMonterey.zip," which is accessible from https://doi.org/10.5066/F70Z71C8. These data accompany the pamphlet and map sheets of Johnson, S.Y., Dartnell, P., Hartwell, S.R., Cochrane, G.R., Golden, N.E., Watt, J.T., Davenport, C.W., Kvitek, R.G., Erdey, M.D., Krigsman, L.M., Sliter, R.W., and Maier, K.L. (S.Y. Johnson and S.A. Cochran, eds.), 2016, California State Waters Map Series—Offshore of Monterey, California: U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 2016–1110, pamphlet 44 p., 10 sheets, scale 1:24,000, https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr20161110....

The Southern San Andreas fault (SSAF) poses one of the largest seismic risks in California. However, structural properties around Coachella Valley remain enigmatic. In 2019, we collected magnetotelluric soundings (MT) to help inform depth-dependent fault zone geometry, fluid content and porosity. This project was led by the Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics at the University of California San Diego in partnership with U.S. Geological Survey and funded in large part by the Southern California Earthquake Center (SCEC). The MT data were collected using Zonge International 32-bit ZEN data loggers with ANT-4 magnetic induction coils and Borin Ag-AgCl electrodes with 50 m dipoles. The ZEN was programmed to...
