The Colorado River Cutthroat Trout (CRCT) conservation team identified a need to further develop a long-term approach to updating and maintaining the CRCT GIS-based database that was created using the Inland Cutthroat Trout Protocol (ICP). The University of Wyoming Geographic Information Science Center was contracted to develop a multi-state, web-based database and a web-based application for viewing and editing the data to aid in conservation activities.
