This data release is a raster dataset from of the National Land Cover Database (NLCD) 2011 Percent Developed Imperviousness (2011 Edition). The NLCD 2011 data was downloaded from the Multi-Resolution Land Characteristics Consortium (MRLC) in 2014. These data were compiled to measure airborne horizontal mass flux of sediments moved by wind across soils, climates, vegetation types, and land uses on the Colorado Plateau. Objectives of our study were to quantify spatial and temporal patterns in wind erosion and further our understanding of how soil and site setting, climate, and land uses are controlling wind erosion and horizontal mass flux. The methodology for US Congress-mandated national biological C sequestration potential assessment was used to evaluate ecosystem C dynamics in CONUS federal lands at present and in the future under three Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Special Report on Emission Scenarios (IPCC SRES) A1B, A2, and B1. The map was produced using a moving window analysis on the Distribution of Non-Sage Grouse Habitat in the Conservation Assessment Area with a search radius of 5km.
