Data presented are results of surveys in 2021 for Southwestern Willow Flycatcher (Empidonax traillii extimus) in San Diego County, California. Surveys were conducted at the 2016-19 nest monitoring locations (Cleveland National Forest, Rey River Ranch, and Vista Irrigation District) and at Lake Henshaw along the Upper San Luis Rey River. Surveys were conducted along multiple sections of the river where permission to access properties could be obtained. Locations were surveyed using a standardized protocol three to four times between 15 May and 31 July. These data represent trapping effort and captures of deer mice at Point Reyes National Seashore, Marin County, California. Deer mice were captured and marked with ear tags to allow identification of individuals. The location of captures can be used in a spatially explicit capture recapture model to estimate density of mice and how mouse density varies by site and habitat type.

These data consist of larval fish and water profile data collected with a nearshore to offshore transect approach at 9 transects throughout Lake Huron. Larval fish and their stomach contents were identified, enumerated, and measured (if possible) using a dissecting microscope. These data were used to calculate densities of potential fish prey items (what is available in the environment) and compare that to what the fishes ate for selectivity analysis. Dataset containing information for white-tailed deer samples from Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and New York, genotyped for 11 microsatellites markers. Marker OvirQ should not be used as it presents alleles inconsistent with reported pattern, with some alleles separated by only 1 base pair and inconsistent between runs. Projected coordinates representing sampling location are in a user-defined CRS, similar to USA Contiguous Albers Equal Area Conic: "+proj=aea +lat_1=29.3 +lat_2=45.3 +lat_0=23 +lon_0=-96 +x_0=0 +y_0=0 +ellps=GRS80 +towgs84=0,0,0,0,0,0,0 +units=m +no_defs".

These data were compiled to assess potential impacts of altered operations of Glen Canyon Dam on riparian plant resources. Objective(s) of our study were to quantify potential responses of specific vegetation metrics. These data represent predicted changes in vegetation metrics based on the data in the Interim Guidelines and LTEMP_SEIS folders. These data were collected in Grand Canyon and Glen Canyon below the dam from 2014-2019. These data were collected by USGS SBSC scientists through ground-based vegetation surveys. These data can be used to predict responses of vegetation metrics only to the specific alterations to dam operations that were simulated.

Data includes fish abundance and habitat data collected at ten sites in the Sandusky River, OH. Fish were collected using two 3.67 m long hoop nets with an initial hoop diameter of 0.91 m. Nets were set perpendicular to the current, opening toward the shoreline. Nets were set for approximately 24 hours and catch rates for each set were defined as the number of fish caught in the two hoop nets per 24-hour sampling period.
