GNLCC Jurisdictional Boundaries These layers show land ownership and status of all Canadian and U.S. lands that fall within the boundaries of the Great Northern Landscae Conservation Cooperative. Layers were compiled from various sources, each with it’s own metadata reference file. To quantify the level of protected status of lands within the SRLCC, a classification scheme developed by the U.S. Geological Survey GAP program was used. Working Lands were delineated by extracting forestry and agriculture related land covers from the Cooperative Land Cover v. 3.2 (December 2016) and then refined using CLIP 4.0 Aggregated Model. The Critical Lands and Waters Identification Project (CLIP) is a collection of spatial data that identify statewide priorities for a broad range of natural resources in Florida.
