Collection of Field Maps from Missouri Dataset contains sample-level metadata on unpublished field maps contained in Missouri Geological Survey archives. Maps were used for a wide range of projects; therefore type and quantity of data on each map varies considerably. Maps contain spatial data (locations of mines, springs, wells, outcrops, sinkholes, and other features), as well as field notes, measured and cross sections, detail sketches, material properties, and other geologic data. Maps are primarily 7.5-minute and 15-minute quadrangles; some with other scales are included. Display coordinates are the lower left hand corner of the map.
