In cooperation with the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT), the U.S. Geological Survey prepared geospatial layers illustrating the boundaries of the regions used in the South Carolina (SC) Stream Hydrograph Methods presented in Bohman (1990,1992). The region limits were described in written text and depicted in figures in Bohman (1990, 1992), but have not been provided as geospatial layers (due to the age of the original publications). This project used best-available geospatial data from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) ecoregions (2013) to create equivalent geospatial representations of the Bohman (1990, 1992) region boundaries for the SC Stream Hydrograph Methods. These layers...

The purpose of this USGS data release is to publish NC SELDM streamflow statistics and summary statistics of physical and chemical data in support of the information provided in the above-referenced report. This data release consists of two data sets, "NC SELDM streamflow statistics..." and "NC SELDM summary statistics for physical and chemical data...". The tables that are uploaded for the "NC SELDM streamflow statistics for 266 streamgages across North Carolina" sub-section are primarily the support files for the StreamStatsDB update that was completed when the report was approved. These files were generated using the GNWISQ and QSTATS computer programs developed and described by Granato (2009, appendices 1 and...

Reliable estimates of the magnitude and frequency of floods are an important part of the framework for hydraulic-structure design and flood-plain management. Annual peak flows measured at U.S. Geological Survey streamgages are used to compute flood-frequency estimates at those streamgages. However, flood-frequency estimates also are needed at ungaged stream locations. A process known as regionalization was used to develop regression equations to estimate the magnitude and frequency of floods at ungaged locations. This dataset contains the supporting tables and updated hydrologic region boundaries used in the 2017 flood-frequency study for Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.

The USGS Colorado Water Science Center, in cooperation with the Colorado Water Conservation Board, collected hydraulic data for the South Platte River for areas adjacent to Fort Morgan, Colo., based on the USGS streamgage 06759500 South Platte River at Fort Morgan, CO. The hydraulic data include survey point data for 54 cross sections and 10 pressure transducers, which are used to record the river stage beginning at Morgan County Road 16 and extending downstream to Morgan County Road 20.5 near Fort Morgan, Colo. The cross-section and pressure transducer location data were collected using real-time kinematic Global Navigation Satellite Systems by USGS personnel from February 15, 2017, through April 18, 2017. These...

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Oklahoma-Texas Water Science Center, in cooperation with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, updated basin-characteristic data for Oklahoma streams with drainage areas of less than 2,510 square miles. Basin characteristics were updated or created for 248 streamgages. The previously published Oklahoma generalized skew map, a necessary element in the development of the peak-streamflow frequencies was updated. Compared to a previous dataset described in (Lewis, 2010), this dataset incorporates an additional 9 years of annual peak-streamflow data, including 2 years when major peak-streamflows were recorded (2015 and 2017). The additional years of data collection since the publication...
