These datasets are raster files that represent water depths associated with each flood inundation boundary for 157 flooding scenarios in an 8-mile reach of the Papillion Creek near Offutt Air Force Base. These raster files were created by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in cooperation with the U.S. Air Force, Offutt Air Force Base for use within the USGS Flood Inundation Mapping program. The flood-inundation maps, which can be accessed through the USGS Flood Inundation Mapping Science website at https://www.usgs.gov/mission-areas/water-resources/science/flood-inundation-mapping-fim-program, depict estimates of the areal extent and depth of flooding corresponding to selected water levels (stages) at the USGS streamgages...

Extended time-series sensor data were collected between 2012 and 2016 in surface water of a tidal salt-marsh creek on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The objective of this field study was to measure water chemical characteristics and flows, as part of a study to quantify lateral fluxes of dissolved carbon species between the salt marsh and estuary. Data consist of in-situ measurements including: salinity, temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, redox potential, fluorescent dissolved organic matter, turbidity and chlorophyll. Surface water flow, water level and water elevation data were also measured. The data provided in this release represent a compiled data set consisting of multiple sensor deployments between 2012 and 2016.

This data set contains two sets of measured water-level data collected on and near Offutt Air Force Base near Bellevue, Nebraska. Surface-water and groundwater-level data were collected for two synoptic water-level surveys completed in late summer of 2020 and in spring 2021. The elevations of surface-water features were surveyed with a rover receiver using a real-time network (RTN), where the rover receiver receives real-time position corrections from a central server through a mobile wireless-fidelity (Wi-Fi) hotspot linked to the rover receiver. Data collection procedures ensured that positions and elevations achieved a U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Level-III survey accuracy and surveyed surface-water elevations...

These data-sets are polygon shapefiles that represent flood inundation boundaries for 157 flooding scenarios in an 8-mile reach of the Papillion Creek near Offutt Air Force Base. These shapefiles were created by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in cooperation with the U.S. Air Force, Offutt Air Force Base for use within the USGS Flood Inundation Mapping program. Digital flood-inundation maps for an 8-mile reach of the Papillion Creek near Offutt Air Force Base, were created by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in cooperation with the U.S. Air Force, Offutt Air Force Base. The flood-inundation maps, which can be accessed through the USGS Flood Inundation Mapping Science website at https://www.usgs.gov/mission-areas/water-resources/science/flood-inundation-mapping-fim-program, depict estimates of the areal extent and depth of flooding corresponding to selected water levels (stages) at the USGS streamgages on the Papillion Creek at Fort Crook, Nebr. (station 06610795) and Papillion Creek at Harlan Lewis Road near La Platte, Nebr. (station 06610798). Near-real-time stages at...

This data set contains continuous water-surface elevation and water-quality (temperature, specific conductance, salinity, and turbidity) data recorded at 6- and 15-minute intervals, respectively, from two sites in the Bronx on the Harlem River -- Roberto Clemente State Park and Mill Pond Park. Water elevation was monitored every second to detect changes indicative of boat wakes expected to resuspend bed sediment from nearby alcoves. Boat wake detection triggered the collection of 1-second interval water elevation and 1-minute interval turbidity data. In addition to continuous data, grab samples for fecal indicator bacteria (Enterococci) and total suspended solids were collected weekly from - March to September,...

Kootenai river hydraulic conditions were simulated using the iRIC FaSTMECH two-dimensional hydraulic flow model (Nelson, 2003). In addition to this study, FaSTMECH 2D flow models have been developed for numerous Kootenai River studies dating back to 2005. The methods used to develop, calibrate, and simulate FaSTMECH 2D flow models are described at length in multiple previous studies (Fosness and Dudunake, in press; Barton and others, 2005; Barton and others, 2007; Logan and others, 2011; McDonald and others, 2016; McDonald and Nelson, 2018; McDonald and Nelson, 2020). Model simulations were combined with white sturgeon telemetry data to explain fish positions with respect to selected depths and depth-averaged velocity.
