High-resolution airborne magnetic survey of the Republic Graben, Okanogan and Kettle metamorphic core complexes, Kootenay Arc and surrounding regions, Northeastern Washington

This release includes aeromagnetic data collected via low-altitude helicopter flown over northeastern Washington State, centered over the town of Republic, Washington. The data were acquired between September 26, 2022 and August 21, 2023 by Precision Geosurveys, Inc. of Langley, British Columbia and processed by EDCON-PRJ, Inc. of Lakewood, Colorado, contracted by the U.S. Geological Survey and funded through the Earth Mapping Resources Initiative (EarthMRI). The survey includes gridded data from target altitude of 80-100 meters above ground level, subject to aircraft climb and descent limitations. U-Pb zircon data for volcanic and sedimentary units within the Kittitas Valley, central Washington State

This data release includes laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICPMS) U-Pb zircon geochronology data from four samples collected from syn- and post-Columbia River Basalt Group strata. Samples were collected from within alluvial fan strata and gravel-mantled hillslopes. Sample 16MANC2-01 was collected from an excavation into rounded fluvial gravel deposits along the Manastash Ridge. The unit collected includes Cascadian derived volcanic clasts and is interpreted as an inset terrace of fluvial strata deposited on the Manastash Ridge. Bayesian modeling of NURE airborne radiometric data for the conterminous United States: predictions and grids

This data release includes estimates of potassium (K), equivalent uranium (eU), and equivalent thorium (eTh) for the conterminous United States derived from the U.S. Geological Survey's national airborne radiometric data compilation (Duval and others, 2005). Airborne gamma ray spectrometry (AGRS) measures the gamma-rays that are emitted from naturally occurring radioactive isotopes found in rocks and soil, the most abundant of which are potassium (K40), uranium (U238), and thorium (Th232). U-Pb zircon data for igneous units related to mineralization in the eastern Yukon-Tanana upland, eastern Alaska

From 2017-2019, framework metallogenic studies were completed in the eastern Yukon-Tanana upland in eastern Alaska. Numerous previously undated plutons known or suspected to contain components of porphyry, epithermal, and intrusion-related gold systems and associated deposit types were sampled for age and zircon trace element determinations between the Black Mountain area and the Yukon border, north of the Tanana River and south of the Yukon River. The Alaska Geochemical Database Version 4.0 (AGDB4) contains geochemical data compilations in which each geologic material sample has one best value determination for each analyzed species, greatly improving efficiency of use. The relational database includes historical geochemical data archived in the USGS National Geochemical Database (NGDB), the Atomic Energy Commission National Uranium Resource Evaluation (NURE) Hydrogeochemical and Stream Sediment Reconnaissance databases, and the Alaska Division of Geological and Geophysical Surveys (DGGS) Geochemistry database. This data release provides digital flight line data for a high-resolution airborne radiometric survey over parts of Montana in the vicinity of the Boulder Batholith. The airborne survey was jointly funded by the Earth Mapping Resources Initiative and Kennecott Exploration Company. The survey was designed to meet complementary needs related to geologic mapping and characterization of mineral resource potential. A total of 34,041-line km of magnetic and radiometric data were acquired over an irregular-shaped area of 6178 km2.
