Water well logs are maintained in the MBMG’s Ground-Water Information Center (GWIC). The collection currently includes approximately 250,000 records (both in hard copy and digital formats) describing water-related resources (wells, boreholes, springs, etc.) in Montana. The paper collection is stored in the GWIC offices at the Bureau. The electronic data is stored on an SQL server and is available over the internet at http://mbmggwic.mtech.edu/. In addition to well log data, GWIC is also actively collecting and maintaining: 33,300 water-quality analyses from 14,700 sites, 2.3 million historic water-level records from 12,300 sites, as well as field-inventory and aquifer-test data.

This collection includes records for non-water wells in Indiana. Some County Strat Test (CST) wells are pretty shallow boreholes located within the state. Most are related to petroleum exploration and development efforts. Data includes completion reports, scout tickets, geophysical logs, sample descriptions and test results. Some records include small-scale geophysical and colored driller's logs. This collection is housed in the Records Center at the Indiana Geological and Water Survey, Indiana University, Bloomington, and is accessible by appointment.

This collection includes water well completion forms. Approximately 254,000 water well compeltion forms are described in the main database managed by the Kansas Geological Survey. This collection represents grant work from 2014 to 2021.

Approximately 55,000 water well records are available in the Pennsylvania GroundWater Information System (PaGWIS). The digital system includes basic well information and an image of the well paper record. Basic data include county, municipality, well owner, driller, and date drilled, which are searchable attributes of the database. Additional information is included in the well report image file. Locations for about 6,550 well records have been assigned. These well records were submitted by water drillers from 2005 to 2015. Database is available at http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/topogeo/groundwater/pagwis/index.htm.

This is the collection of original paper gamma-ray logs, copies and other items that are associated with the gamma-ray logs housed at the Indiana Geological Survey. They are stored in 12 file cabinets. This represents all of the original paper copies since 1978 when the collection began. Each log can be found filed in the original file, used mainly as a master file, as well as by county, the working file. The paper logs have been digitized made available to the public at https://igws.indiana.edu/borehole-logs in .las and .pdf format.

The NJ Ambient Ground Water Quality Monitoring Network is a 150 monitoring well network designed to evaluate the status of and trends in shallow ground-water as a function of land use related non-point source contamination. Ambient Ground-Water Quality Monitoring Network Data This network is the only statewide shallow ground-water network in New Jersey that characterizes non-point impacts as a function of land use.

Collection consists of paper and electronic files of data from individual wells and springs that have been tested for water quality as part of an ongoing statewide assessment of ground-water quality. Data from the collection is documented in publications and annual administrative reports. Results of groundwater samples collected by the Maryland Geological Survey that were analyzed by the USGS National Water Quality lab have been entered into the USGS National Water Information System (NWIS). Some laboratory results of groundwater sample analyses from state or private labs exist only in paper and spreadsheet format at the Maryland Geological Survey and have not been fully inventoried or catalogeed.

A compilation of location, sample type, and chemical composition of Oklahoma produced water received from various sources in the petroleum industry prior to 1980. Analytical results were "recorded as received", with no evaluation. 8151 of these records are part of the USGS Produced Water Database. Brine (produced water) analyses

This collection consists of water well drill logs, mostly of water wells drilled in Idaho's large Miocene or younger lava fields. Water well drill logs. Scanning these logs, locating them against appropriate base maps, and publishing the resulting data set to the web would allow many more users to access this information.

Digital bathymetric survey products consist of (a) raw and processed water depth and water level measurements, (b) contour maps derived from the processed data, and (c) associated reports. Data and maps are available for Baltimore Harbor, the MD and VA coastal bays, and the following MD lakes/reservoirs: Liberty, Little Seneca, Loch Raven, Prettyboy, Rocky Gorge, and Triadelphia.
This collection consists of rock chips in vials and plastic bags. The material is stored in vials and was collected mostly from water wells, and has been washed. Material stored in plastic bags, mostly from oil and gas wells, is not washed and is stored in boxes. The collection includes cuttings from 5078 water wells, and 635 oil and gas wells.

The collection of hand samples was obtained from projects of the Massachusetts Water Resource Authority (MWRA) related to the construction of water and sewer lines, throughout mainly the eastern part of the state. The collection consists of 525 hand samples from which thin sections (525) were made; in addition, there are 21 boxes containing approximately 2 pound, hand samples from work on the Cosgrove Tunnel Project. The samples were collected by Father James Skehan and each chunk of rock has an identifier painted on it, referring to the station location. The thin sections and the hand samples are stored in cardboard boxes, on pallets, at the Record Center, on Deer Island in Boston Harbor. The condition of the collection...

Minnesota Geological Survey is working with partners to build a statewide, consistent, standardized, and documented geochemical database, due to the convergence of: 1) systematic sampling & analysis of soils and stream sediments by the USGS & the MGS; 2) completion of a statewide till geochemical survey by MGS in cooperation with industry, and 3) renewed efforts by Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) to ensure optimal usability of their state ground-water chemistry data. The soil/sediment data are distributed statewide, were collected over a short period of time, and samples from each project were analyzed by the individual labs following consistent and documented protocols, while the MPCA water analyses were...
