Index card: Red Canyon fault scarp along the south flank of Kirkwood Ridge. View is northwestward. Note the way the fault scarp moves up the slope of the hill shown on the left side of photo as it outlines the colluvial debris. Red band along crest of ridge is the Amsden Formation. Hebgen Lake earthquake, Gallatin County, Montana. August 1959.
