This U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) data release contains estimated daily streamflow and base flow for HUC12 in the nontidal areas of the Chesapeake Bay watershed, monthly average streamflow and base flow, flow statistics, MATLAB scripts, and a document that describes how to create similar datasets in other watersheds. Daily streamflow was estimated for all the nontidal parts of the Chesapeake Bay watershed with the program "Unit Flows in Networks of Channels" (UFINCH; Holtschlag, 2016), together with the observations of measured streamflow at gages at the downstream ends of major rivers. This data set brings together and categorizes many of the chemicals, solids, and microorganisms that are used in agriculture or produced as by-products of agriculture in the United States (as of 2009). Each entry in the data set includes the name, Chemical Abstracts Service Registry Number, purpose(s) in agriculture, and a reference. For pesticides and their degradates, the pesticidal use, parent pesticide, and the United States Environmental Protection Agency Pesticide Chemical Code are included. The Integrated Watershed Studies Team is a multidisciplinary group of scientists who carry out collaborative investigations of water chemistry at varying spatial scales. The team integrates physical, chemical, and biological data by applying models and spatial geographic data to quantify the role of hydrological and biogeochemical processes on the chemical evolution of surface water and groundwater. This group is part of the National Water Quality Assessment Project of the U.S. Geological Survey.

This U.S. Geological Survey data release contains datasets that combine past data with future projections of nitrogen sources and nitrogen export to the Chesapeake Bay watershed for the years 1950-2050. This USGS data release contains 2013 streamflow, baseflow, and precipitation data from three hydrologically-diverse streams in the United States used to develop a conceptual framework for effectively anticipating water-quality changes resulting from changes in agricultural activities. This USGS Data Release represents the synthetic and real data from hydrologically diverse streams used to test the performance and limitations of the Two-tracer Ratio-based Mixing Model (TRaMM) which uses high-frequency measures of two tracers (A and B) and streamflow to separate total streamflow into water from slowflow and fastflow sources. The ratio between the concentrations of the two tracers is used to create a time-variable estimate of the concentration of each tracer in the fastflow end-member.
