This point shapefile represents four static reference locations collected by single-baseline Online Positioning User Service – Static (OPUS-S) global navigations satellite system (GNSS) surveys in Grapevine Canyon near Scotty's Castle, Death Valley National Park, from July 12-14, 2016. Surveys were completed at three Federal Highway Administration benchmarks (FHWA) and one temporary reference point, Rebar1. Data were collected using Topcon GR-3 and Leica Viva GS14 GNSS receivers on two-meter fixed height tripods. Processing of static observations was done using the National Geodetic Survey (NGS) Online Positioning User System (OPUS).
This dataset presents the results of analysis of aquatic biota tissue samples, collected over multiple sampling events from in from 2007 to 2014 at three sites (Las Vegas Bay, Overton Arm, and Boulder Basin) in Lake Mead National Recreational Area. The tissue samples were analyzed for concentrations of Carbon 13 and Nitrogen 15 isotopes by the University of California, Davis in Davis, California. Data are presented in 1 spreadsheet worksheet that is organized by year, location, and taxa. General trophic level (Vander Zanden and Rasmussen, 1999) and calculations of benthic reliance (Umek and others, 2010) also are included. Combined data from sampling events in 2007 and 2008 previously were published in Umek and...

This dataset contains monthly pumping rates for municipal and industrial (MnI) wells in Texas within the Rio Grande Transboundary Integrated Hydrologic Model (RGTIHM) that were not included in other pumping rate datasets. In RGTIHM, these wells are considered the Texas Water Development Board (TXWDB) group. Monthly pumping rates are presented in units of cubic feet per day for the period from March 1940 through December 2014.

This dataset contains monthly groundwater pumping values from 1938 through 2010 for areas within Elephant Butte Irrigation District (EBID) with irrigation-water supplied by only groundwater. Groundwater pumping values were extracted from the New Mexico Office of the State Engineer’s (NMOSE’s) Canal spreadsheet, version 11.2 (Barroll, P., NMOSE, written commun., 2011). Groundwater pumping values are presented in units of acre-feet.

This polygon vector dataset represents the model grid and associated attributes for the Rio Grande transboundary integrated hydrologic model and water-availability analysis, New Mexico and Texas, United States, and Northern Chihuahua, Mexico.
This U.S. Geological Survey data release consists of a polygon geospatial dataset representing estimated flood-inundation areas in Grapevine Canyon near Scotty's Castle, Death Valley National Park, and the data acquired and processed to support the delineation of those areas. Supporting datasets include topographic survey data collected by global navigation satellite system (GNSS) and terrestrial laser scanner (TLS) in Grapevine Canyon from July 12-14, 2016; derivatives of those data; pebble count data collected in Grapevine Canyon; and an archive of the one-dimensional hydraulic model used to generate the flood-inundation area polygons. Specifically: 1)a point dataset of four static reference locations (StaticGNSS_x)...
This point shapefile represents 769 locations surveyed by single-base real-time kinematic (RTK) global navigation satellite system (GNSS) in Grapevine Canyon near Scotty's Castle, Death Valley National Park, from July 12-14, 2016. The points were collected at 3-second intervals and include hard and soft surfaces and slopes throughout the study area. The points were used as vertical precision verification for a terrestrial laser scanner (TLS) survey.
This comma-separated values (CSV) file includes the results of five Wohlman-style pebble counts (Wolman, 1954), collected in Grapevine Canyon near Scotty's Castle, Death Valley National Park, on March 2, 2017. Pebble counts were performed to determine the size of channel bed particles and evaluate channel roughness to be input into a one-dimensional hydraulic model.

This zip file contains a digital terrain model represented by a triangulated irregular network (TIN) derived from filtered ground observations collected by terrestrial laser scanner (TLS) in Grapevine Canyon near Scotty's Castle, Death Valley National Park, July 12-14, 2016.
This raster dataset represents normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) values calculated from National Agricultural Imagery Program (NAIP) spectral data for the vegetated evapotranspiration (ET) unit in the groundwater discharge areas for the Amargosa Wild and Scenic River and contributing areas. Estimated groundwater discharge by ET also is presented.

This dataset presents the results of passive water sampling conducted at 2 sites in 2013 and 3 sites in 2014 in Lake Mead National Recreational Area. Polar Organic Chemical Integrative Samplers (POCIS) and Semipermeable Membrane Devices (SPMDs) were deployed in Las Vegas Bay and Overton Arm in 2013 and Las Vegas Bay, Boulder Basin, and Overton Arm in 2014. The samplers were analyzed for concentrations of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), organochlorines (DDT-type compounds and their degradates), polybrominated biphenyl ethers (PBDEs), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), waste indicators (WW), and yeast estrogen screen (YES) by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) at the Columbia Environmental Research Center (CERC)...

This polygon vector dataset delineates six informal geographic subregions within the model grid of the Rio Grande transboundary integrated hydrologic model and water-availability analysis, New Mexico and Texas, United States, and Northern Chihuahua, Mexico.
This point vector dataset represents 18 surface-water inflow points used as input into the Streamflow-Routing (SFR) Package for MODFLOW-One-Water Hydrologic Flow Model in the Rio Grande Transboundary Integrated Hydrologic Model (RGTIHM). Fourteen of the inflow points represent wastewater treatment plant (WWTP)/water reclamation plant outfalls, two of the inflow points represent electric plant outfalls, and the remaining two inflow points represent gage locations on the Rio Grande below Caballo Reservoir and Bonita Lateral flows near the beginning of the SFR network within the RGTIHM.
This data release contains depth-to-groundwater, water withdrawal, and analyses associated with multiple aquifer tests conducted between March 2017 and April 2018 in Lovelock, NV. Seven slug tests, one single-well pumping test, and two multi-well pumping tests were conducted to evaluate properties of the Lahontan clays and silts, fluvial deposits, and coarser, water-bearing deposits of the Younger Alluvium. Data and analyses are presented in folders named according to type of test and aquifer analyzed, as described in the larger work.
