The collection of borehole geophysical logs and images and continuous water-level data was conducted by the U.S. Geological Survey South Atlantic Water Science Center in the vicinity of the GMH Electronics Superfund site near Roxboro, North Carolina, during December 2012 through July 2015. The study purpose was part of a continued effort to assist the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in the development of a conceptual groundwater model for the assessment of current contaminant distribution and future migration of contaminants. This data release contains inputs for and outputs from hydrologic simulations of the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint River Basin (ACFB) in the southeastern U.S. using the Precipitation Runoff Modeling System (PRMS). Seven hydrologic models, one coarse-resolution model for the entire ACFB and six fine-resolution models of tributary sub-basins. These simulations were developed to provide estimates of water availability and statistics of streamflow. This dataset includes the magnetotelluric (MT) sounding data collected in 2006 in the Southern San Luis Valley, Colorado. The U.S. Geological Survey conducted a series of multidisciplinary studies, including MT surveys, in the San Luis Valley to improve understanding of the hydrogeology of the Santa Fe Group and the nature of the sedimentary deposits comprising the principal groundwater aquifers of the Rio Grande rift. The shallow unconfined and the deeper confined Santa Fe Group aquifers in the San Luis Basin are the main sources of municipal water for the region. In 2004, a hydrologic water-budget analysis was conducted and the results published in the report, Water-Budget Analysis of Medina and Diversion Lakes and the Medina/Diversion Lake System, With Estimated Recharge to the Edwards Aquifer, San Antonio Area, Texas (SIR 2004-5209)(Slattery and Miller, 2004). This data release contains the hydrologic water-budget data used in a reanalysis of the data as well as the results of the reanalysis. Nitrogen, phosphorus, and suspended-sediment loads, and changes in loads, in major rivers across the Chesapeake Bay watershed have been calculated using monitoring data from the Chesapeake Bay River Input Monitoring (RIM) Network stations for the period 1985 through 2022. Nutrient and suspended-sediment loads and changes in loads were determined by applying a weighted regression approach called WRTDS (Weighted Regression on Time, Discharge, and Season). The load results represent the total mass of nitrogen, phosphorus, and suspended sediment that was exported from each of the RIM watersheds.

Ecological flow (EFlow) statistics have been designated to characterize the magnitude, frequency, and duration of extreme high- and low-flows, the timing of seasonal flows, and the consistency of the historic regime. This Child Item contains a table of 178 EFlows for the time periods 1940-1969, 1970-1999, and 2000-2018, with absolute and percent change between periods, where applicable. Statistics were computed by Water Year (WY) for all 178 metrics and absolute and percent change were calculated by comparing metrics between combinations of two of the three time periods (1940-1969 and 1970-1999; 1940-1969 and 2000-2018; 1970-1999 and 2000-2018). Hurricane Sandy, which made landfall on October 29, 2012, near Brigantine, New Jersey, had a significant impact on coastal New Jersey, including the large areas of emergent wetlands at Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) and the Barnegat Bay region.
