These catalogs serve to identify known locations of mineral extraction and exploration activities discussed for the purpose of eventually discovering these data through the Mines web map application. These tables of information will reduce data entry time through use of queries to generate records. They also help identify properties without a clear location for efficient discussion with the original authors.

Boreal wetland birds are among the continent’s most rapidly declining avifauna. However, many of these declining species still breed commonly on military lands in Alaska. We propose to survey these species, as well as, additional boreal wetland obligates at breeding sites on Eielson Air Force Base (AFB) and then track migratory movements throughout the annual cycle. Our surveys aim to identify important wetland features for conservation and levels of fragmentation that may reduce bird breeding numbers. Our tracking of birds during migration will identify habitats for conservation at key stopover and wintering areas, and therefore allow conservation on military lands in Alaska to be directly linked to conservation...

This file contains information on herbivore fecal counts by year including location, date, and fecal counts. These data were only collected from 2016-2019.The data providers have invested considerable effort in QA/QC, but it is possible that undetected errors remain. It is strongly recommended that careful attention be paid to the contents of the metadata file associated with these data to evaluate data set limitations, restrictions, or intended use. The originators of this dataset shall not be held liable for improper or incorrect use of the data described and/or contained herein.Potential users of these data should first contact the data authors listed below, as potential biases may occur within the data depending...

Data were separated by time period due to changes in methodologies that occurred in 2018.The data providers have invested considerable effort in QA/QC, but it is possible that undetected errors remain. It is strongly recommended that careful attention be paid to the contents of the metadata file associated with these data to evaluate data set limitations, restrictions, or intended use. Collection of photographs taken during Utqiagvik chick monitoring field work. Photos include those taken of completed chick monitoring datasheets by year.Information for the Utqiagvik chick monitoring study were obtained concurrently with information obtained for the Utqiagvik shorebird project and information on chicks and nests included in these files is also contained within the Utqiagvik shorebird project archive (file://ifw7ro-file.fws.doi.net/datamgt/mbm/mbmsh_009_Utqiagvik_shorebird_project). If there are discrepancies between the files please use the information contained within the Utqiagvik shorebird project files. Additional information on chick growth was also obtained in 2013 by Kirsten Grond and is...

This file contains information on shorebird nests found during Spoon-billed Sandpiper surveys including species, date found, location, and egg floatation information. These data do not represent all locations where specific avian species may be present, as surveys only occurred in discrete survey plots. Additionally, individual birds may have went undetected within survey plots, as detectability was likely less than 100%, and is a function of many variables, including differences in species, habitat, time-of-year, weather conditions, survey effort, and individual surveyor. The data providers have invested considerable effort in QA/QC, but it is possible that undetected errors remain. It is strongly recommended that...

This collection of files contains separate excel files for aquatic, dry, and mesic invertebrate samples each year from 2010-2021; additional file for data from 2008-2009. Files from 2010-2021 were produced by Aquatic Biology Associates and provide information on a variety of metrics. Metadata is included in the excel files. Files from 2008-2009 were produced by Brooke Hill. These files can be found in the raw data folder.A portion of these data are available on the NSF Arctic Data Center (https://doi.org/10.18739/A23R0PT35).The data providers have invested considerable effort in QA/QC, but it is possible that undetected errors remain. The Geospatial Fabric version 1.1 (GFv1.1 or v1_1) is a dataset of spatial modeling units covering the conterminous United States (CONUS) and most major river basins that flow in from Canada. The GFv1.1 is an update to the original Geospatial Fabric (GFv1, Viger and Bock, 2014) for the National Hydrologic Modeling (NHM). Analogous to the GFv1, the GFv1.1 described here includes the following vector feature classes: points of interest (POIs_v1_1), a stream network (nsegment_v1_1), and hydrologic response units (nhru_v1_1), with several additional ancillary tables. These data are contained within the Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) geodatabase format (GFv1.1.gdb).

The Transboundary Geospatial Fabric (TGF) is a dataset of spatial modeling units consistent with the Geospatial Fabric for National Hydrologic Modeling (abbreviated within this document as GFv1, Viger and Bock, 2014). These features were derived from National Hydrography Dataset Plus High Resolution data (NHDPlus HR, U.S. Geological Survey [USGS], 2018) in the following conterminous United States (CONUS) - Canada transboundary four-digit Hydrologic Units (HUC4): 0101, 0105, 0108, 0901, 0902, 0903, 0904, 1005, 1006, 1701, 1702, and 1711. The data described here include the following vector feature classes: points of interest (POIs), a stream network (nsegment), major waterbodies (waterbodies), and hydrologic response...

Jointly managed by multiple states and the federal government, there are many ongoing efforts to characterize and understand water quality in the Delaware River Basin (DRB). Many State, Federal and non-profit organizations have collected surface-water-quality samples across the DRB for decades and many of these data are available through the National Water Quality Monitoring Council's Water Quality Portal (WQP). For this data release, WQP data in the DRB were harmonized, meaning that they were processed to create a clean and readily usable dataset. The harmonization process included the synthesis of parameter names and fractions, the condensation of remarks and other data qualifiers, the resolution of duplicate...

Moloka‘i has great wetland restoration potential in Hawaiʻi, but most remaining sites are highly degraded. The future of several endangered waterbirds and insects relies on restoring coastal wetland habitat that is resilient under sea-level rise and coastal flooding. Currently, managers lack background data on Molokaʻi to prioritize sites for restoration. In this project, Researchers will develop a comprehensive dataset and create a prioritization plan for coastal wetland restoration. The team will work closely with project partners and stakeholders to develop a well-vetted plan to support endangered species and meeting community needs. Existing maps and spatial data about the Molokaʻi landscape will be compiled...
