This USGS data release represents tabular data and water-level modeling files for the 16 Pahute Mesa multiple-well aquifer tests conducted from 2009–2014. The data release was produced in compliance with the new 'open data' requirements as a way to make the scientific products associated with USGS research efforts and publications available to the public. The dataset consists of 5 separate items: 1. Pumping time-series data (Tabular dataset) 2. Simplified pumping time-series data (Tabular dataset) 3. Drawdown time-series data (Tabular dataset) 4. Water-level models (Macro-enabled Excel spreadsheets) 5. SeriesSEE (Excel Add-In)
Evaporation rates were measured at Lake Mead from March 2010 through February 2012 for phase 1 of an evaporation study (Moreo, M.T., and Swancar, A., 2013, Evaporation from Lake Mead, Nevada and Arizona, March 2010 through February 2012: U.S. Geological Survey Scientific Investigations Report 2013–5229, 40 p., http://dx.doi.org/10.3133/sir20135229). Phase 2 of the study (March 2012 through September 2017) continues evaporation measurements at Lake Mead and begins evaporation measurements at another lower Colorado River Basin reservoir, Lake Mohave. Eddy covariance is the primary measurement method. Data currently (10/6/2015) are being collected for the phase 2 study. This USGS data release represents tabular data...
This USGS data release presents tabular data of daily and annual (for the 9-month period March 1 through November 30) estimates of concentrations and fluxes of total and dissolved phosphorus, total nitrogen, chloride, and total suspended solids for 18 monitored tributaries of Lake Champlain. Annual estimates of concentration and flux are presented as 9-month data because the frequency and type of sample data from winter months are inadequate for making meaningful wintertime estimates. Daily estimates generally cover the period March 1990 through November 2014 and annual estimates 1990 through 2014, although dates vary by constituent and tributary, depending on availability of raw data. The dataset consists of 6...
