This is Arizona Bureau of Land Management (BLM) statewide grazing allotment data. This polygon feature class depicts the boundaries of the livestock grazing allotments located within the Arizona BLM, Arizona, USA. Each allotment has one or more pastures. In some cases, this layer identifies the BLM managed public land or other land associated with specific grazing allotments administered by the local BLM field office. Boundaries may be fences, arbitrary lines, or natural barriers. Agency management of polygons within this feature class is not specific to BLM; other agencies are also included.

GIS dataset of the developed recreation sites (polygons) identified in the Lake Havasu Field Office RMP 2007. This dataset is limited to the Colorado River area where most of the recreation sites are located. The dataset includes BLM campgrounds and day use areas, along with concession leases. Additional recreation sites are in the RecreationSites_point.shp dataset. These recreation areas are on BLM lands in Arizona and California within the Lake Havasu Field Office.

This report presents information about subsistence uses of fish, wildlife, and plant resources in Lime Village, Interior Alaska. This is the first harvest assessment survey for this community since a compilation of qualitative harvest data was completed in 1983. The Alaska Department of Fish and Game Division of Subsistence conducted the project in collaboration with Stephen R. Braund & Associates as part of a multiyear, multiphase study in a region of Southwest Alaska being considered for the development of a large scale mine. Terrestrial Development Index (TDI) for transportation in the Wyoming Basin REA project area. TDI scores are based on the percent of transportation surface disturbance footprint from development within a 2.25 km radius moving window for a 15m cell size. The TDI quantifies the total area of transportation surface disturbance footprint. TDI scores range from 0 to 100 percent and were divided into seven classes for visualization purposes. Because the development scores are continuous, alternative classes can be used to display the data to address a particular management question. Fish occurrence data have been collected within the North Slope study area, however most of these data are presently available only in non-digitized format (e.g., hardcopies, inventory reports, unpublished data, etc.). Due to the lack of spatial data available, Alaska Natural Heritage Program began collaboration with BLM fisheries biologists to assist with their efforts to enter these fish distribution datasets into the geodatabase RipFish that was developed and is maintained by BLM. Our contribution to this database serves as a final product for the Aquatic Fine-Filter CEs for the Rapid Ecoregional Assessment and will allow managers to readily have access to fish distribution data and conduct future spatial analyses....

This dataset presents grazing allotments (from BLM and USFS) within the context of current and near-term terrestrial intactness and long-term potential for energy development and potential for climate change (4KM reporting units). Current terrestrial intactness is based on current measures of landscape development, fire regime and vegetation impacts, and fragmentation. Near-term intactness includes estimates of urban growth and expansion of invasive vegetation. Long-term potential for energy development is based on areas of potential for wind, solar, and petroleum development derived from multiple sources. Each community in the study area is served by an isolated grid, with its own generation and distribution infrastructure. All energy infrastructure in each community is within the community’s footprint. Barrow and Prudhoe Bay, the two largest population centers, rely completely on natural gas for generation of electricity. Nuiqsut relies both on natural gas and diesel. Other than Barrow and Prudhoe Bay, all other communities have small demand loads, and thus only generate less than a megawatt.

This creates a Terrestrial Development Index score using just energy, minerals, roads, and railroads to address a management question for mule deer. There is evidence from the published literature that mule deer avoid these development variables, so we used a subset of the overall TDI input variables to evaluate.

Alaska's abundant, remote, and predominantly pristine freshwater fish habitats are largely unexplored and undocumented. To begin filling these vast information gaps, the Alaska Freshwater Fish Inventory Database (AFFID) houses freshwater fish (anadromous and resident)-occurrence data sets compiled from a variety of sources.
