This U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) data release provides whole rock major, minor, and trace element geochemical data from the fluorine-rich Mount Emmons-Redwell porphyry molybdenum (Climax-type) deposit (Mt. Emmons-Redwell deposit), located approximately 5.6 km (3.5 mi) northwest of Crested Butte, Colorado. The Mt. Emmons-Redwell deposit partly underlies Redwell Basin on the northwest flank of Mount Emmons in the west-central region of the Colorado Mineral Belt. Mineralization of the Mt. Emmons-Redwell deposit occurs at depth as vein, veinlet, stockwork, and fracture-hosted Climax-type mineralization [308 Mt at 0.32% Mo (Galey, 1978; Guarnera and Anderson, 2007)], and is associated with the Mt. Emmons igneous complex....

These data sets present results from the analyses of groundwater samples collected from monitoring wells and monitoring intervals in bedrock wells in the mudstone aquifer underlying the former Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC), West Trenton, NJ. The water samples were collected between 2008 and 2013 and were analyzed for field parameters, inorganic and organic constituents, and the abundances of selected microbes of importance to the evaluation of biological degradation of organic contaminants in groundwater. The collection and analyses of the groundwater samples coincides with conducting a bioaugmentation experiment in a targeted region of the mudstone aquifer. The purpose of the bioaugmentation was to introduce...

View upriver toward west wall of Grand Canyon from river mile 272.0. Muav Limestone at river (Lake Mead) level to Pakoon Limestone/Esplanade Sandstone at skyline.
Aerial view east into Squaw Canyon, lower Grand Wash Cliffs. Mississippian and Pennsylvanian strata.
View west and downriver from river mile 45.0 toward Triple Alcoves, a cave in lower part of Redwall Limestone (below white salt stain), Marble Canyon.
Aerial view northwest toward Lizard Dike (basalt) cutting through Solomon Temple Member (lower red), Comanche Point Member (red and white), and Ochoa Point Member (upper red) of Dox Formation below Cardenas Basalt (black) of Unkar Group, and east-dipping Nankoweap Formation (purple ledges) from above river mile 71.7. Great Unconformity at base of brown horizontal Cambrian Tapeats Sandstone cliff.
View north toward two Devonian channels filled with Temple Butte Formation (left and right center of photograph), north wall of Saddle Canyon, just west of river mile 47.4.
Aerial view northeast and upriver toward Little Colorado River delta (right) and Colorado River (left) confluence from west of river mile 62.0.
