The High Resolution National Hydrography Dataset Plus (NHDPlus HR) is an integrated set of geospatial data layers, including the best available National Hydrography Dataset (NHD), the 10-meter 3D Elevation Program Digital Elevation Model (3DEP DEM), and the National Watershed Boundary Dataset (WBD). The NHDPlus HR combines the NHD, 3DEP DEMs, and WBD to create a stream network with linear referencing, feature naming, "value added attributes" (VAAs), elevation-derived catchments, and other features for hydrologic data analysis. The stream network with linear referencing is a system of data relationships applied to hydrographic systems so that one stream reach "flows" into another and "events" can be tied to and traced...

This file (wymt_ffa_2017A_WATSTORE.txt) contains peak flow data for 12 peak-flow frequency analyses for 11 selected streamgages in Jefferson County, Montana, based on data through water year 2017. The file is in a text format called WATSTORE (National Water Data Storage and Retrieval System) available from NWISWeb (http://nwis.waterdata.usgs.gov/usa/nwis/peak).
A comma separated values (csv) file that is a snapshot of percent difference between November 19, 2008 and November 14, 2016 peak streamflow. The file lists station identification, water year, original (2008) peak Q, current (2016) peak Q and percent difference calculated per water year. The percent difference was calculated as the absolute value of [(current peak Q - original peak Q)/(original peak Q) x 100], where current peak Q is the 2016 peak and the original peak Q is the 2008 peak. When an original peak Q value is 0, the resultant percent difference calculation is undefined because of division by 0. In these cases, the percent difference field is populated with NA. Those entries are included in the data file...

These data were compiled to assess physiological responses of plants to short-term changes in streamflow, both increased and decreased. Objective(s) of our study were to determine the degree to which plants with different habitat preferences and functional strategies responded to short-term increases or decreases in the elevation of the water table. These data represent streamflow rates, temperature, and metrics of plant water status. These data were collected in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area from March 13-27, 2021, and collected by the U.S. Geological Survey-Grand Canyon Monitoring and Research Center. Streamflow data were obtained from the Lees Ferry gage station, and temperature data were obtained from...

Streamflow was collected at various streamgages in western Pennsylvania in support of the scientific investigations report "Estimation of Base Flow on Ungaged, Periodically Measured Streams in Small Watersheds in Western Pennsylvania". Data observed at the streamgages for the period of August 1, 2014 through March 31, 2017 are considered. This dataset includes 1) observed streamflow and qualifier indicating the presence of precipitation or runoff at various streamgages, 2) all data used to develop prediction intervals for the titled estimation site based upon the titled index streamgage for use in runoff influenced streamflow analysis, 3) all data used to develop prediction intervals for the titled estimation site...

Streamflow Modeling,
The datasets herein are the observed instantaneous values of streamflow for the titled U.S. Geological Survey streamgage with precipitation metadata added. Days where streamflow is directly affected by precipitation and the day afterwards is identified with a "B". Two days after a precipitation event is identified with a "C". If the streamflow was affected by snow or ice, the data is identified with a "D". Any data that is not precipitation influenced is identified with an "A". This metadata was applied on the basis of numerous rain gages in the vicinity of the streamgage and radar images obtained from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration website https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/data-access/radar-data/radar-map-tool...
