This dataset contains 50-ft contours for the Hot Springs shallowest unit of the Ouachita Mountains aquifer system potentiometric-surface map. The potentiometric-surface shows altitude at which the water level would have risen in tightly-cased wells and represents synoptic conditions during the summer of 2017. Contours were constructed from 59 water-level measurements measured in selected wells (locations in the well point dataset). The U.S. Geological Survey South Atlantic Water Science Center, in cooperation with the South Carolina Department of Transportation, implemented a South Carolina StreamStats application in 2018. This shapefile dataset contains vector lines representing streams, rivers, and ditches that were used in preparing the underlying data for the South Carolina StreamStats application. This vector line dataset represents the lower Las Vegas Wash study area. Surface-water trace was digitized onscreen from Landsat8 and ESRI World Imagery. This dataset identifies the number of individually-owned domestic wells, and the number of households relying upon domestic water supply in the state of California. The number of wells and households are summarized for each Public Land Survey System (PLSS) section. The well locations were determined from more than 635,000 scanned well-completion reports (WCRs) provided by the California Department of Water Resources in 2011. This is only a partial sample of the total number of WCRs (estimated at 1 to 2 million in total). The U.S. Army Fort Irwin National Training Center (NTC), approximately 35 mi north-northeast of Barstow, California, covers approximately 1,177 square miles, and is comprised of ten groundwater basins, three of which have been subdivided into subbasins on the basis of additional hydrologic testing. Airborne electromagnetic (AEM) and magnetic survey data were collected during October 2015 along 769 line-kilometers over a 160-square-kilometer area that includes the Big Sioux aquifer between Sioux Falls and Dell Rapids, South Dakota, USA. Data were acquired with the CGG Resolve frequency-domain helicopter-borne electromagnetic system along with a cesium vapor magnetometer. Files included in this data release are: (1) raw and processed AEM and magnetic data; (2) processed AEM resistivity-depth inversions, and (3) a contractor’s report describing survey parameters, field operations, quality control, and data reduction procedures.
