This dataset presents measures of landscape fragmentation calculated by FRAGSTATS at 4KM and HUC5 reporting unit levels. Fragmentation integrates the influence of urban, agriculture, invasive vegetation, roads, pipelines, utility lines, oil/gas wells, and water on patches of natural vegetation.

This map shows the current and historic distribution of this ecosystem, in the context of change agents and disturbance types, as well as current and near-term status and long term potential for change. This map includes current distribution from LANDFIRE EVT and NatureServe Landcover, and historic distribution from LANDFIRE BpS.
This collection of maps shows fluvial geomorphic features of the Colorado River bottomland including river channel boundaries at high flow (31,300 cubic ft/sec on 06/28/2011 at the Cisco gage) and at lower flow (3,410 cubic ft/sec on 09/06/2010 at the Cisco gage). Also shown is the bottomland boundary delineating the currently active fluvial surface; the bottomland is subdivided by both reaches and bottomland kilometers for reference. Centerlines for the bottomland and 2010 river channel are included, also.
This set of maps shows relative habitat quality for species that prefer open areas. Component layers (herbacoeus areas, distance to high water) are included, as are associated layers of channel boundaries, reaches, and bottomland kilometers.
Static flood inundation boundary extents were created along the entire shoreline of Lake Ontario in Cayuga, Jefferson, Monroe, Niagara, Orleans, Oswego, and Wayne Counties in New York by using recently acquired (2007, 2010, 2014, and 2017) light detection and ranging (lidar) data. The flood inundation maps, accessible through the USGS Flood Inundation Mapping Program website at https://www.usgs.gov/mission-areas/water-resources/science/flood-inundation-mapping-fim-program, depict estimates of the areal extent and water depth of shoreline flooding in 8 segments corresponding to adjacent water-surface elevations (stages) at 8 USGS lake gages on Lake Ontario. This item includes data sets for segment D - Lake Ontario...
Basic information about the planetary surface of the Kuiper quadrangle is provided by three sequences of high-quality photographs designated Mercury I, II, and II, obtained during the incoming phases of three encounters of the Mariner 10 spacecraft with Mercury. Mercury I includes 75 whole-frame photographs of the Kuiper quadrangle; Mercury II, 13 whole-frame photographs; and Mercury III, 70 quarter-frame photographs. The photographs include 19 stereopairs in the southern part of the quadrangle. The most distant of the photographs was taken at an altitude of 89,879 km, the closest at an altitude of 7,546 km. Resolution, therefore, varies widely but ranges from about 1.5 to 2.0 km over most of the area.

In the next 100 years, accelerated sea-level rise (SLR) and urbanization will greatly modify coastal landscapes across the globe. More than one-half of coastal wetlands in the contiguous United States are located along the Gulf of Mexico coast. In addition to supporting fish and wildlife habitat, these highly productive wetlands support many ecosystem goods and services including storm protection, recreation, clean water, and carbon sequestration. Historically, tidal saline wetlands (TSWs) have adapted to sea-level fluctuations through lateral and vertical movement on the landscape. As sea levels rise in the future, some TSWs will adapt and migrate landward in undeveloped low-lying areas where migration corridors...

The Louisiana-Mississippi Conservation Delivery Network serves to link the fundamental planning and design functions of the Lower Mississippi Valley Joint Venture partnership with the delivery programs of conservation partners by establishing a forum for cooperative coordination, leveraging, and targeting of their actions on-the-ground. The Delivery Priority Tool for the LA-MS CDN is a model overlay that stacks (or combines) Ducks Unlimited's Wetland Restoration Suitability Model for the MAV, the Forest Breeding-bird Reforestation Decision Support Model for the MAV created by the LMV Joint Venture, and Ducks Unlimited's Easement Protection Priority Model for the MAV. Each model was designed to identify priority...

This map shows current, near-term, and long-term estimates of fire occurrence potential due to human and natural causes. These estimates were developed using a Maxent model of 30 years of human and natural fire occurrences predicted against a variety of surfaces including elevation, lightning density, distance to roads and urban areas, vegetation type, and climate. The only factors that were varied to create the near and long-term estimates were climate.

To evaluate the potential effects of climate change on wildlife habitat and ecological integrity in the northeastern United States from 2010 to 2080, a University of Massachusetts Amherst team derived a set of climate projections at a fine spatial resolution for the entire Northeast. The projections are based upon publicly available climate models. This dataset represents the growing season degree days (number of days in which the average temperature is > 10 degrees C) using one of two IPCC greenhouse gas concentration scenarios (RCP8.5). The dataset is intended to represent typical growing season degree days for the year 2050 rather than the actual growing season degree days. MAP UNITS ARE THE SUM OF DEGREES THAT...
