This dataset is related to a 2017 journal article by A. J. Pietruszka and L. A. Neymark titled "Evaluation of laser ablation double-focusing SC-ICPMS for “common” lead isotopic measurements in silicate glasses and minerals" that is published in the Journal of Analytical Atomic Spectrometry (doi:10.1039/c7ja00005g).
The regional Ozark aquifer potentiometric-surface map shows the altitude at which the water level would have risen in tightly cased wells and represents conditions during the period from November 2014 through January 2015. Water levels were measured during this period to ensure that wells had adequate time to recover from previous summer pumping and prior to the start of the 2015 summer pumping season. Groundwater-level data from 178 wells cased completely in and open to the Ozark aquifer are available from the USGS National Water Information System (NWIS; data available at http:// waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis). Streams and springs in the study area represent the intersection of the groundwater table with land surface;...

The U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with the California Department of Water Resources (DWR), has constructed a new spatially distributed Precipitation-Runoff Modeling System (PRMS) for the Merced River Basin (Koczot and others, 2021), which is a tributary of the San Joaquin River in California. PRMS is a deterministic, distributed-parameter, physical-process-based modeling system developed to evaluate the response of streamflow and basin hydrology to various combinations of climate and land use (Markstrom and others, 2015). Although further refinement may be required to apply the Merced PRMS for official streamflow forecast operations, this application of PRMS is calibrated with intention to simulate (and...

This dataset represents the locations of experimental plots that were used during the Phragmites Bioherbicide 2023 field experiment. To meet the criteria for selection, a site must have relatively dry soil with no standing water, have two or more large monotypic stands of Phragmites australis, and be easily accessible by vehicle. Experimental plots were created at these sites and one of four treatments were applied to each plot involving either tap water or bioherbicide.
