These data were compiled to evaluate the reproductive ecology of Agassiz's desert tortoises (Gopherus agassizzi) in the Sonoran Desert of California using two populations within Joshua Tree National Park, including five reproductive seasons that spanned 20 years (1997-1999, 2015-2016). Compared to their conspecifics inhabiting the Mojave Desert, the reproductive ecology of G. agassizii in the Sonoran Desert is understudied. Climatic variation between the two deserts can affect reproductive ecology, including fecundity and clutch phenology. Unionids are plagued with a lack of basic information regarding species distributions, life history characteristics, and ecological and biological requirements. These data represent surface elevation change and vertical accretion time series collected from a series of degraded tidal wetland sites near Goodland, Florida, USA. Surface elevation was measured using a combination of rod surface elevation tables (SETs) and feldspar marker horizons. Here, we document mangrove forest and soil structural changes within transects established in tidally restricted areas on Marco Island (Collier County, Florida, USA), which has broad swaths of dead-standing or unhealthy mangroves. Lake Powell retains most of the phosphorus that it receives, leading to downstream phosphorus limitation. These data were compiled to examine controls on phosphorus cycling below Lake Powell in the Colorado River and from storm inputs from the Paria River. This data set was collected as part of a structured decision-making workshop designed to identify sources of uncertainty and articulate alternative hypotheses about prescribed fire in high marshes of the Gulf of Mexico. Workshop participants independently scored alternative hypotheses based on a standard rubric using an online system. Following the workshop, we used the scores to compute QVoI for each participant. We used QVoI to prioritize the sources of uncertainty based on their magnitude of uncertainty, relevance for decision making, and reducibility.

This data release is comprised of tidal marsh biomass data and spatial predictions of peak biomass and Julian day of peak biomass using data from the Landsat archive. Aboveground biomass dry weight of mixed-species plots (25x50 cm) at a tidal marsh in Willapa Bay, Washington were used to establish a relationship between biomass and tasseled cap greeness (TCG). The julian day of annual peak greenness and the value of annual peak greenness for 32 years at Bandon National Wildlife Refuge (NWR), Grays Harbor NWR, and Nisqually NWR was calculated by fitting a Gaussian function to the TCG values for a given year. Adult walleye (10 females and 10 males) were caught in Fox River (Wisconsin) during April 2014. Total length, weight, and age were determined for each of the walleye. Whole-fish homogenates were prepared during 2017. Lipid concentration and polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) congener concentrations were determined in each of the homogenates during 2017-2018. For each sample, PCB congener concentrations were summed to yield total PCB concentration. All lipid and PCB congener terminations were made at the University of Michigan School of Public Health in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
