Anaerobic microcosm experiments were conducted in April-May 2018 with PFAS-contaminated soil from a U.S. Army installation (Fort Drum, New York) and simulated groundwater. All microcosms, except for a live sediment control, were amended with perfluorooctanesulfonate (PFOS), perfluorooctanoate (PFOA), and 6:2 fluorotelomer sulfonate (6:2 FtS). Replicate treatments were prepared with and without bioaugmentation with the WBC-2 dehalogenating culture and with and without addition of chlorinated volatile organic compounds (1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane and trichloroethylene). The dataset contains a hybrid bathymetric-topographic digital elevation model (DEM) of the Upper Missouri River near Wolf Point, MT. The DEM was generated within ArcGIS by compositing bathymetric data from multiple single beam sonar surveys collected between June 2018 and July 2019 with previously existing topographic data collected from airborne LiDAR into a triangulated irregular network (TIN). The resulting TIN was then manually edited and exported as a raster for use in developing a hydrodynamic model.

However, information is sporadically located online, increasing the difficulty of developing comprehensive lists of species with risk assessments or comparing assessment results across species in locations of interest. In January 2024 adult monarch butterflies (Danaus plexippus (Linnaeus, 1758)) were found dead near their overwintering site in Pacific Grove, Monterey County, California, USA. Ten of the deceased monarchs (six females and four males) were collected from three sites by staff at the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History and sent to the U.S. Geological Survey Organic Chemistry Research Laboratory for analysis. This dataset contains two subsets of animations corresponding to particle tracking simulations of the Upper Missouri River near Wolf Point, MT comparing larval transport through the upper and lower sub-reaches of the larger model reach. Animations do not contain audio and depict particles moving from the top of the reach (left side) to the bottom of the reach (right side). A total of 96 animations are included corresponding to a combination of 1 of both reaches (upper or lower), 1 of 16 discharges (185-635 cms, at increments of 30 cms), and 1 of 3 vertical movement methods (active60pct, active75pct, or passive).

This dataset contains breakthrough curves calculated from particle tracking simulations of a July 1, 2019, larval drift experiment conducted on the Upper Missouri River near Wolf Point, MT. Breakthrough curves were generated using a custom script written in the Python programming language that counts the number of particles per time step passing through sampling locations. Breakthrough curves were generated for particles using passive, active75pct, and active60pct vertical movement methods at the first two sampling stations downstream of the release location.
This dataset contains a series of processed acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP) measurements collected by boat on the Upper Missouri River near Wolf Point, Montana between 2018 and 2019. The data presented here have been processed with the Velocity Mapping Toolbox (VMT) and combined into a single shapefile using ArcGIS. This data release includes output data from the transit-loss accounting program for the Fountain and Monument Creek watersheds in El Paso and Pueblo Counties, Colorado. The output data distinguish between native and reusable streamflow. Native streamflow is that which originates naturally within the watershed. Reusable streamflow originates as water imported from outside the watershed, water derived from pumping of certain groundwaters, or as other water with rights that allow it to be reused. The program accounts for reusable water throughout the watershed, as well as the total inflow and outflow of water to each subreach division within the watershed. This dataset includes well logs used in the creation of the Cincinnatus hydrogeologic framework. Well logs were used from multiple sources (DEC, DOT, NWIS) and were a crucial component in generating hydrogeologic layer elevations and thicknesses. Well logs are available in their original form on GeoLog Locator (https://webapps.usgs.gov/GeoLogLocator/#!/) and provided here in the digitized form (shapefiles and feature classes), which were used in the generation of the hydrogeologic framework.
This dataset includes georeferenced tiff files from three separate reports for the Rondout Neversink study area that have been digitized into feature classes within ArcGIS. Not all digitized and georeferenced data was necessarily used in the final interpolations, however they may have contributed to understanding the local hydrogeology.

This dataset includes "smoothing points" used in the creation of the Fishkill and Wappinger Falls hydrogeologic framework. Smoothing points were manually added and were used to enhance interpolated layers using geologic assumptions and include: valley edge points, report points, and upland bedrock SSURGO points.
The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources and Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency conducted observations onboard commercial fishing vessels. During these observations total lengths were collected from a subset of that capture which we have used to develop a length-based stock assessment of invasive carp. The first dataset represent harvest from the invasive carp harvest program in Kentucky and Tennessee from 2009-2021 only in Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake where the majority of harvest occurs. The second data are length data from a subset of those fish harvested in 2018-2021.
