Limestone Hand Samples This collection contains hand samples gathered by IGWS field teams under the direction of State Geologist Charles Deiss (1945-1959) between 1947-1957 in support of research projects resulting in multiple Survey publications. The collection is organized by geologic age and contains materials from the Ordovician through Pennsylvanian periods.
