Georgia Department of Natural Resources contributed data to MARIS from the Georgia Wade-able Streams Fish Index of Biotic Integrity Sampling program and from Georgia Standardized Sampling program. For Georgia Wade-able Streams Fish Index of Biotic Integrety Sampling, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources is engaged in a statewide effort to establish a fish index of biotic integrity (IBI) based on the state's five major ecoregions. The IBI consists of 13 metrics, and scoring criteria for the metrics are based on major river basin and watershed area as well as ecoregion. These data include species occurrence records of fish in oceans within 1000 kilometers of the United States shoreline. This dataset is a subset of the OBIS-USA dataset as of December 2, 2014 and includes records of the taxonomic groups of Actinopterygii, Chondrichthyes, Myxini, Osteichthyes, and Petromyzontida. After initial taxonomic queries, the remaining data were further queried to retain only samples within 1000 kilometers of the U.S. shoreline. Spatial queries were then used to remove samples overlaying land masses. Data are provided in a geodatabase format, as well as a comma seperated values format. This dataset consists of three tables related to abundance and distribution of northern sea otters (Enhydra lutris kenyoni) in western Prince William Sound, Alaska, based on data collected during a series of population-wide aerial surveys in June 2022. The dataset consists of: (1) sea otter counts along strip transects, (2) sea otter counts in Intensive Search Unit (ISU) within the transects, and (3) transect coordinates.

These tabular data were compiled to estimate abundance from paired physical capture and antenna detection data in closed, open, and robust design mark-recapture models. These data represent humpback chub capture histories in the Little Colorado River (LCR) and in the juvenile chub monitoring (JCM) reach of the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon, Arizona. The dataset includes multistate capture histories that describe both physical captures and antenna detections.
