The South Atlantic Conservation Blueprint is a living spatial plan to conserve natural and cultural resources for future generations. It identifies shared conservation priorities across the South Atlantic region. The fourth iteration of the Blueprint, Version 2.2, was released in November 2017. It used comparable methods and the same spatial scale as Blueprint 2.0 and 2.1, just incorporating updated information for many of the indicators. Version 2.2 was a completely data-driven plan based on ecosystem indicator models for terrestrial, freshwater, and marine environments, as well as a connectivity analysis.
