Wenatchee Extent - These are an offshoot of the Series layer and a predecessor to the Plant Association Group (PAG) layer. Potential Natural Vegetation (PNV) refers to the plant community that would be established if all successional sequences were completed without human interference under the present environmental conditions, including those created by humans. PNV is a useful tool to stratify the landscape into basic units of land capability. PNV maps should, by design, be rather stable.
