This layer represents the combined Priority Resources of the PFLCC and FWC and the Aggregated Priorities layer of CLIP 4.0. Included the combined layer is the 10 terrestrial Priority Resources (Non-marine) and the 6 Priority Levels (labelled 0 through 5 (lowest (0) to highest Priority (5) and Outside Prioritized Model (l -1) -- for a Total Possible Combinations of 70 (Total actual are 69). Each Priority Resource comprises 6-7 rows in the Attribute Table -- one row for each combination of Priority Resource and CLIP Priority.

This project entails creation and refinement of the conservation targets for the terrestrial Priority Resources for the Peninsular Florida Landscape Conservation Cooperative. Potential Conservation Targets were developed through stakeholder Workshops held throughout the State of Florida in 2016/2017. Priority resources are the set of biological, ecological, and cultural features and ecological processes collaboratively identified as most important or most significant for the focus geography. These resources embody the key components of the Peninsular Florida Landscape Conservation Cooperative (PFLCC) vision, which is a collective vision that reflects the mission, vision, common interests, and values of the focus geography partners. The priority resources are the focus of the PFLCC’s planning, design and implementation of conservation strategies(Benscoter et al. 2015). This map shows the land covers (based on CLC 3.2) that are included in PFLCC's Pine Flatwoods and Dry Prairie Priority Resource. The Pine Flatwoods and Dry Prairie Priority Resource is derived from the CLC v. 3.2. The land covers are then further refined using priorities 1 and 2 from CLIP 4.0 Aggregated Priorities model. The Aggregated Priorities model, which combines conservation priorities from the Biodiversity, Landscapes, and Surface Waters Resource Priority models, and the underlying CLIP Core Data layers. This data set shows the portion of PFLCC's Priority Resource: Freshwater Forested Wetlands that is currently labelled as 'Verified Impaired Water Body' by the State of Florida DEP. Because it takes so much data and time to remove a body from the Verified Impaired List, this data set will not be used as a Conservation Target to indicate water quality within Freshwater Forested Wetlands. PFLCC Staff are seeking additional data sources that could provide that information.
