A previously published groundwater flow model (https://pubs.usgs.gov/sir/2005/5089/) was revised with refined grid spacing and updated hydrogeolgic framework and hydrologic properties (http://doi.org/10.3133/sir20155061) and used in this study to predict the effects of Upper Floridan aquifer (UFA) groundwater pumpage on horizontal hydraulic-head gradients in the upper-water-bearing zone of the UFA in the downtown Brunswick area, Glynn County, Georgia. The data contained in this data release support USGS Scientific Investigations Report 2020-5023, "Distribution of selected hydrogeologic characteristics of the upper glacial and Magothy aquifers, Long Island, New York" (Walter and Finkelstein, 2020). This data release contains estimates of aquifer texture describing the Long Island aquifer system. These estimates in total can be considered a model of aquifer texture describing unconsolidated sediments in the following principal units: 1) Upper glacial aquifer, 2) Jameco aquifer, 3) Monmouth Greensand confining unit, and 4) Magothy aquifer. In April 2015, approximately 22 miles of continuous seismic profiling (CSP) surveys were collected on the Cedar River in Iowa. The swept frequency (chirp) CSP subbottom profiler was used to characterize the unconsolidated materials above the bedrock. The CSP subbottom profiler is an acoustic sound source that travels through the water column and reflects off the bottom and sub-bottom layers and is received at the transducer. This dataset is the result of measurements of groundwater levels in the Equus Beds aquifer near Wichita, Kansas, in January 2016. Potentiometric surfaces are interpolated for the shallow and deep parts of the aquifer, and rasters of the potentiometric surfaces are included in this data release. This dataset includes the magnetotelluric (MT) sounding data collected in 2007 in and near the San Luis Valley, Colorado. The U.S. Geological Survey conducted a series of multidisciplinary studies, including MT surveys, in the San Luis Valley to improve understanding of the hydrogeology of the Santa Fe Group and the nature of the sedimentary deposits comprising the principal groundwater aquifers of the Rio Grande rift.
