This dataset consists of points representing selected well site locations and water-level measurements used by Lopes and Allander (2009) to develop autumn 2006 groundwater-level altitude contours for Smith and Mason Valleys, and the lower Walker River basin, Nevada. Since the publication of Lopes and Allander (2009), the positional coordinates and land-surface altitudes at selected well sites used to develop autumn 2006 groundwater-level contours in that report were updated as part of a 2022 U.S. Geological Survey study (Davies and Naranjo, 2022).

This USGS data release presents data used to interpret aquifer tests and ultimately characterize the hydraulic properties of carbonate-rock and basin-fill aquifers near Long Canyon, Goshute Valley, northeastern Nevada. The supplemental data consist of 2 child items and 3 attached appendix datasets. The child items are: (1) 2011–2016 Single Well Aquifer Tests: Pumping Schedules, Water-Level Data in Aquifer Test Wells, and Analysis Results from Tests Conducted near Long Canyon, Goshute Valley, Northeastern Nevada, (tabular datasets, pdfs, and Excel workbooks), and (2) 2016 Carbonate-Rock Aquifer Test Data: Pumping Schedules, Water-Levels, Weather Data, Water-Level Models, and Hydrographs showing Drawdown and Rise...

This USGS data release contains the regional potentiometric contours representing the regional potentiometric surface for Clark County, Nevada, 2009-2015. Contours represent the groundwater-level altitude with a 250-foot contour interval and were created from groundwater elevations from 58 wells and surface elevations from 5 springs.

This U.S. Geological Survey data release contains data for Smith and Mason Valleys, California and Nevada, from the 2009 publication: Lopes, T.J.,and Allander, K.K., 2009, Hydrologic Setting and Conceptual Hydrologic Model of the Walker River Basin, West-Central Nevada: U.S. Geological Survey Scientific Investigations Report 2009–5155, https://doi.org/10.3133/sir20095155. Data include (1) 1:24,000-scale hydrographic areas, (2) selected well sites used to develop autumn 2006 groundwater-level contours, and (3) autumn 2006 groundwater-level contours. Since the publication of Lopes and Allander (2009), the positional coordinates and land-surface altitudes at selected well sites used to develop autumn 2006 groundwater-level...

This data release consists of four directories: GroundwaterWithdrawals, Precipitation, WaterLevelDatabase, and WLMs. The GroundwaterWithdrawals directory contains a Microsoft Excel workbook with groundwater withdrawal data from 1996-2015 for water-supply wells in Beatty and Bullfrog Hills, Nye County, Nevada. The Precipitation directory contains four Microsoft Excel workbooks with data from precipitation stations and analyses used to construct long-term precipitation index records. The WaterLevelDatabase directory contains a Microsoft Excel workbook with hydrographs and well information for the 79 wells analyzed in the larger work. The WLMs directory contains 11 water-level models that were used to determine hydrologic...

This data release contains depth-to-groundwater, water withdrawal, and analyses associated with multiple aquifer tests conducted between March 2017 and April 2018 in Lovelock, NV. Seven slug tests, one single-well pumping test, and two multi-well pumping tests were conducted to evaluate properties of the Lahontan clays and silts, fluvial deposits, and coarser, water-bearing deposits of the Younger Alluvium. Data and analyses are presented in folders named according to type of test and aquifer analyzed, as described in the larger work.

This data release consists of two directories: DepthToWater and WaterLevelModels. The DepthToWater directory contains five Microsoft Excel workbooks that present depth-to-groundwater data and drawdown analyses from five wells during an aquifer test at well ER-6-1-2 main (USGS site identification number 365901115593501). The WaterLevelModels directory contains 11 Microsoft Excel workbooks that present 10 archived SeriesSee (Halford and others, 2012) water-level models that were used to examine drawdown at 9 wells during the same aquifer test. An additional Microsoft Excel workbook (Continuous+TransformedData.xlsx) contains all raw and transformed data series used in the 10 water-level models.
