The Blueprint 2.0 Development Process is a final report that explains in detail how the Conservation Blueprint was created. It first provides an overview of the South Atlantic LCC and the Blueprint framework, then combines the metadata available on the Conservation Planning Atlas for all ecosystem maps, ecosystem indicators, ecosystem scores, corridors, and final Blueprint priorities. It is intended to serve as a comprehensive guide to the Blueprint objectives, data sources, and methodology that could enable an interested reader to reproduce the Blueprint independently.

Surveys for Papilio godeffroyi specimens were conducted on 117 individually marked host trees (Micromelum minutum) in eight forest stands on Tutuila Island, American Samoa, at approximately monthly intervals during 2013-2014. The eight stands were mostly in or adjacent to the National Park of American Samoa (NPSA), but one stand was sampled near the western tip of Tutuila, outside NPSA. Eggs and eggshells were collected during each survey and processed in the laboratory at American Samoa Community College. This USGS data release consists of seven data sets and accompanying metadata for studies on the efficacy of adult mosquito traps and lures for monitoring populations of the invasive mosquito Culex quinquefasciatus and the efficacy of the biopesticide VectoMax FG for control of larval Culex quinquefasciatus in Hawaiian forest bird habitat. Culex quinquefasciatus is the vector of the avian malaria Plasmodium relictum a key limiting factor of forest birds. This data -release component documents field portable X-ray fluorescence (pXRF) measurements of lead and associated quality-control data for 19 samples of paint chips collected from structures suspected to have legacy coatings of lead-based paint in Lakeport (Lake County, California) during July 11-12, 2022. Environmental samples were collected at selected sites to assess the effects of lead-based paint on soil chemistry. In the Inupiat community of Selawik, climate change is impacting the weather, land, river, wildlife, plants, and the lives of the people who live there. This report identifies health concerns related to food and water security and community infrastructure. This report documents these issues as described by the local people and interpreted through the lens of public health. This data release provides the concentration results for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) collected on French Island, in the town of Campbell, Wisconsin, sampled quarterly beginning in 2021. These samples were collected from groundwater wells (potable and non-potable taps) by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Upper Midwest Environmental Science Center (UMESC). Three U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certified laboratories were contracted to analyzed samples for this study. In cooperation with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, the U.S. Geological Survey compiled four datasets summarizing 2020 water use for the state of Georgia by county. These datasets include: annual aquifer withdrawals; industrial water use by category; public supply water use; and total water use across multiple variables, including domestic, commercial, industrial, mining, thermoelectric power, and population. These datasets will be used to update the U.S. Geological Survey's Georgia Water Use Mapper (Georgia Water Use (usgs.gov)) with 2020 water use data.

The Bristol Bay region represents an area of transition between the maritime climate of the southern coast and the continental climate of the Interior and Copper River Basin. These regions are largely protected by mountains areas and do not have a strong maritime influence. Temperatures are moderate and sea ice does form in the Bristol Bay but complete freeze-up of these waterways is not common. Low winter temperatures are below 0 degrees F with events below -20F. We conducted two literature searches to help guide the development of a conceptual model of a barrier island and shoreline system in response to cumulative effects of restoration projects. The first search targeted examples of cumulative effects assessments and/or existing conceptual models from which a system-specific conceptual model can be built. The second search targeted the identification of barrier island and shoreline environmental system components, drivers and stressors.
