Digital Elevation Model for Wyoming 90 meter The 90m DEM for Wyoming contains elevation in meters for each 90m cell making up the raster data. In order to conserve space, the DEM was converted from floating point data to integer values. This dataset was converted from US Geological Survey's 1-Degree digital elevation models for Wyoming consisting of a sampled array of elevations for ground positions; see the USGS National Mapping Program's Data User Guide for the DEMs for complete information about the DEM. Small scale contours derived from 1 arc-second data are displayed at scales ranging from 1:577K to 1:72K in The National Map viewer. Contour intervals are 100 foot between 1:577K and 1:144K, and 50 foot at 1:72K. Large scale contours derived from 1/3 arc-second data are displayed at 1:50K (and larger). Large scale contour intervals are variable across the United States depending on complexity of topography.
