Collection of Aerial Photographs from Nevada


Collection of paper aerial photographs and a few negatives. Most have been donated and the original sources include U. S. Geological Survey, U. S. Forest Service, U. S. Bureau of Land Management, Nevada Department of Transportation, U. S. Soil Conservation Service, U. S. Army Map Service, U. S. Air Force, MX Project, and private companies. Some were flown for the University of Nevada, Reno, and NBMG projects. The exact amount is unknown and is probably between 200,000 and 500,000. Users usually come to the NBMG Information Office. If a user knows what they want, they can contact us. We have fees for custom searches, photocopying, scanning, sending materials to an in-town printing/scanning service, and shipping and handling.
