This vibracore (SR-51), is part of the Sand Resources project (see the following reference). The core was collected at a water depth of 56.9 feet, with a total core length of 5.23 feet. The surface facies is a surficial sand sheet and the surface lithofacies is a graded shelly sand. The net feet of sand in this vibracore is 5.23 and the total feet of shelly graded sand is 5.23. The Pleistocene unconformity lies at approximately not recorded. More information on this vibracore and others associated with this project can be obtained by contacting GSA staff or by referring to the following publication: Parker, S. J., Davies, D.
