Summary

The Big Sky Carbon Sequestration Partnership (BSCSP) is one of the U.S. Department of Energy's seven regional carbon sequestration partnerships. The partnerships engage key stakeholders to create a nationwide network that will help determine the best approaches for capturing and permanently storing greenhouse gases that contribute to climate change. The BSCSP region encompasses Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, South Dakota, eastern Washington and Oregon. Its membership includes universities, national laboratories, private companies, state agencies and Native American tribes.
