The National and Regional Climate Adaptation Science Centers (CASCs) work with natural and cultural resource managers to gather the scientific information and build the tools needed to help fish, wildlife and ecosystems adapt to the impacts of climate change.
The South Central Climate Adaptation Science Center (SC CASC) is one of nine regional CASCs, managed by the National CASC. The SC CASC is hosted by the University of Oklahoma with Texas Tech University, Louisiana State University, Chickasaw Nation, Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, and NOAA’s Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Lab as consortium members.
