Album Caption: Looking southwesterly across West Creek 2 or 3 miles east of Dolores River. The light colored band at the top of the cliffs represents the Jurassic La Plata sandstone. Beneath it occur the DoloresTriassic and Cutler Permian formations. Valley of the Dolores River appears on the estreme right hand. Mesa County, Colorado. July 6, 1905.
