Summary

An outcrop of the Salem limestone of the Allegheny Group at Lisbon, Columbiana County, Ohio. Bedrock is from the Pennsylvanian Geologic Period. This area has shale, siltstone, sandstone, conglomerate, limestone, coal, clay and flint lithologies. The photograph was taken by Myron T. Sturgeon in March 1944. Location approximate to Columbiana County, Ohio.
