Index card: View of Mount St. Helens from Coldwater II, from the same point of as in photo no. 23ct, showing effects of the May 18, 1980 eruption. More than half a cubic mile of material was blown from the mountain, whose top is now 1300 feet lower than it was before. More than 95% of the material which was blown from the crater is the hummocky deposit/rockslide debris avalanche in the valley of the North Fork Toutle River. Skamania County, Washington. September 10, 1980.
