These data were compiled to create models that estimate entrainment rates and population growth rates of smallmouth bass below Glen Canyon Dam. Objective(s) of our study were to predict smallmouth bass entrainment rates and population growth under different future scenarios of Lake Powell elevations and management. Site-specific multiple linear regression models were developed for one beach in Ohio (three discrete sampling sites) and one beach in Pennsylvania to estimate concentrations of Escherichia coli (E. coli) or the probability of exceeding the bathing-water standard for E. coli in recreational waters used by the public. Traditional culture-based methods are commonly used to estimate concentrations of fecal indicator bacteria, such as E. coli; however, results are obtained 18 to 24 hours post sampling and do not accurately reflect current water-quality conditions. This dataset contains four tables: (1) site, regression and weighted peak flow estimates (peak_flow_estimates.csv) (2) site, regression and weighted low flow estimates (low_flow_estimates.csv) (3) basin characteristics for peak flow sites (peak_basin_stats.csv) (4) basin characteristics for low flow sites (low_basin_stats.csv). This data release contains motorboat-towed floating transient electromagnetic data collected from the Columbia River near Hanford WA. Data were collected using a ~16 foot (4.9 meters) outboard motorboat during two field campaigns: July 2021 and April 2022. In total, several hundred linear kilometers of data were collected from a reach of the Columbia that extends from approximately Vernita Bridge to Richland, WA with some additional data collected in the Horn area north of White Bluffs in April 2022. From May 2017 to November 2019, the U.S. Geological Survey conducted bathymetric surveys of New York City's East of Hudson Reservoirs. Bathymetry data were collected at Kirk Lake during June 2017.
