This dataset contains the daily average base flow, as determined by hydrograph separation, for 14 watersheds in Gwinnett County, Georgia for October 2001 through September 2020. Hydrograph separations were done using the Web-based Hydrograph Analysis Tool (WHAT) using the simple local minimum method on the daily average streamflows, which are also provided in this dataset. Base flow along with the calculated base-flow index (the proportion of base flow to total flow) were used to characterize groundwater recharge and the relative degree of storm runoff in the watersheds. A comma separated values (csv) file of data used to support attribution of trends and change points in annual peak streamflows observed at gages in the Northeast region. The file includes USGS gage identification and location information, developed land cover and basin storage data, correlation results between annual peak magnitudes and precipitation and Palmer Drought Severity Index (PDSI), and trend and change point results for precipitation and PDSI.

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) collected field survey data and developed one-dimensional U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Hydrologic Engineering Center’s River Analysis System (HEC-RAS) hydraulic models for selected stream crossing sites in the Squannacook River Basin, north-central Massachusetts. In 2021, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), in cooperation with the National Geological and Geophysical Data Preservation Program, cataloged and scanned notes and calculations for indirect measurements taken during flood events in Montana. This product provides a publicly available catalog of the field notes, photos, survey information, and calculations for indirect measurements at selected sites. Indirect measurements are surveyed by the USGS after floods by identifying high water marks along rivers indicating the maximum stream stage. A monitoring well was installed in the Wasatch aquifer in the Green River Basin, Sublette County, Wyoming in August 2015. Core collected during drilling activities was described to a depth of 170 feet. The data release contains a detailed description of the lithology and physical characteristics of the core sections, as well as numerous photographs. The data release was produced in compliance with the new 'open data' requirements as a way to make the scientific products associated with USGS investigations available to the public.

This dataset describes baseflow and stormflow concentration data for the constituents of nitrogen and phosphorus and suspended sediments for watersheds included in a paired watershed study including a forested reference watershed and three urban watersheds with centralized or decentralized stormwater management in Clarksburg, Maryland USA.
