These datasets provide early estimates of 2024 fractional cover for exotic annual grass (EAG) species and one native perennial grass species on a weekly basis from April to late June. Typically, the EAG estimates are publicly released within 7-13 days of the latest satellite observation used for that version. Each weekly release contains five fractional cover maps along with their corresponding confidence maps for: 1) a group of 16 species of EAGs, 2) cheatgrass (Bromus tectorum); 3) Field Brome (Bromus arvensis); 4) medusahead (Taeniatherum caput-medusae); and 5) Sandberg bluegrass (Poa secunda). These datasets were generated leveraging field observations from Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Assessment, Inventory,...
This data release provides geochemical, sedimentological, and geochronological data from interbedded fluvial and marsh deposits and radiocarbon dates of the section spanning the last 1500 years from the Pallett Creek paleoseismic site, California. The samples were collected to support paleoenvironmental reconstruction of the site and refine several previous investigations of paleoearthquakes along the San Andreas Fault (Sieh, 1978; Sieh, 1984; Sieh et al., 1989; Biasi and Weldon, 1994; Scharer et al., 2011). Geochemical and sedimentological data include grain size, magnetic susceptibility, dry bulk density, percent total organic matter, and percent total carbonate at contiguous 1 cm spacing and carbon (total C)...

This digital dataset includes three sets of observational data (groundwater level, streamflow, subsidence) used to calibrate the updated Central Valley Hydrologic Model (CVHM2). CVHM2 is a tool that can be used to quantify the sustainability of groundwater resources in the Central Valley.

Digital datasets were used to develop basin characteristics values that are used in multiple regression equations and tested for the use in predicting flow-duration curves (FDCs) in ungaged areas of Illinois and Indiana. Several basin characteristics are easily derived from StreamStats basin delineations, such as basin area and basin centroid (https://streamstats.usgs.gov/ss/). Other basin characteristics require ancillary datasets as input. The data provided through this data release are those data that have been collected, tested, and ultimately selected as a basis for FDC development. These include Soil Components (Available Water Capacity, Drainage Index, and Permeability); PRISM 3-Month Average Precipitation;...
