These data represent trapping effort and captures of deer mice at Point Reyes National Seashore, Marin County, California. Deer mice were captured and marked with ear tags to allow identification of individuals. The location of captures can be used in a spatially explicit capture recapture model to estimate density of mice and how mouse density varies by site and habitat type.

This U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) data release contains data from stream water, groundwater, and soil samples collected in 2019 and 2020 in the North Quartz Creek watershed in central Colorado. Fourteen streambank wells were installed in pairs at seven locations in August 2020 to capture the emerging groundwater from the left bank and right banks (relative to downstream-facing direction) and a synoptic sampling campaign was conducted to quantify metal contributions to the stream. This data set contains two sets of measured water-level data collected on and near Offutt Air Force Base near Bellevue, Nebraska. Surface-water and groundwater-level data were collected for two synoptic water-level surveys completed in late summer of 2020 and in spring 2021. The elevations of surface-water features were surveyed with a rover receiver using a real-time network (RTN), where the rover receiver receives real-time position corrections from a central server through a mobile wireless-fidelity (Wi-Fi) hotspot linked to the rover receiver. The Santa Clara River Lakes, located along the San Andreas fault 19 miles northwest of Palmdale, California, were placed on the state’s “303(d) List” or “Impaired Water List” in 1996 for eutrophic conditions, high pH, and low dissolved oxygen. In 2016, the state adopted a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) for nutrients (nitrogen and phosphorus) in the Santa Clara River Lakes. This study focuses on the largest of the three lakes, Lake Elizabeth, which is surrounded by the unincorporated town of Elizabeth Lake, CA. This USGS data release contains the regional potentiometric contours representing the regional potentiometric surface for Clark County, Nevada, 2009-2015. Contours represent the groundwater-level altitude with a 250-foot contour interval and were created from groundwater elevations from 58 wells and surface elevations from 5 springs.

These data were collected in support of alteration and volcano flank instability mapping as part of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Volcano Hazards Program. Data were acquired by SkyTEM Survey ApS SkyTEM304 system with the Soloy Helicopters Eurocopter Astar 350 B3 and Bell 407 dual-moment, time-domain helicopter-borne electromagnetic system together with a Geometrics G822A cesium vapor magnetometer with Kroum KMAG4 counter. This data release contains information on gravity cores that were collected by the U.S. Geological Survey in the area of San Pablo Bay and Carquinez Strait, California in 1990, 1991, and 2000. Ten (10) pdf files describe gravity cores that were split, photographed, and imaged by X-rays, and another pdf file contains a core-log legend. In addition, a shapefile provides sample collection data. These polygon features represent a comprehensive inventory of perennial snow and ice on the landscape in Glacier National Park (GNP) in 2005. This dataset does not include the 2005 extent of the named glaciers in GNP, which have been previously published. Of the perennial snow and ice features delineated here, 1.68 km2 (15.08%) of the total area exhibits characteristics indicative of active glacial ice. The imagery used to delineate perennial snow and ice was taken late season, therefore, all snow and ice present on the landscape is assumed to be perennial. This vector line dataset represents the lower Las Vegas Wash study area. Surface-water trace was digitized onscreen from Landsat8 and ESRI World Imagery. The trace is used in an accompanying surface-water study to evaluate discharge gains and losses at selected locations in the Lower Las Vegas Wash.
This U.S. Geological Survey data release consists of a tabular dataset containing stream temperature data. Data were collected every 12-hours from 15 sites in Soldier Meadows, Black Rock Desert - High Rock Canyon Emigrant Trails National Conservation Area, Nevada. The sites were established by the Bureau of Land Management - Winnemucca District Office in 2017. The data release includes tabular data of site names, date and time of temperature measurement, and stream temperature in degrees Celsius. The site locations are included below as a shapefile, exported from the National Water Information System (NWIS) Mapper. A site list can be accessed here: National Water Information System site list

This dataset contains polygons representing deposits of hyaloclastic debris that were generated between about 3.5 and 3.0 million years ago when a series of basaltic lava flows entered the canyon of the ancestral Columbia River. The lava flows were erupted from volcanoes in the area of the Hood River graben of McClaughry and others (2012), generally have low-potassium tholeiitic basalt composition, and were part of a widespread pulse of mafic volcanism in the northern Oregon Cascade Range that occurred between about 4.4 and 2.1 million years ago (Conrey and others, 1996).
