Time-series oceanographic data from the National Park of American Samoa, Tutuila, American Samoa, 2015 Time-series data of water surface elevation, wave height, and water column currents, temperature and salinity were acquired for 150 days off the north coast of the island of Tutuila, American Samoa in support of a study on the coastal circulation patterns within and in the vicinity of the National Park of American Samoa. This effort is part of a large interdisciplinary study led by the USGS California Water Science Center and funded by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation to investigate how shallow-water habitats in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta function and whether they provide good habitat for native fish species, including the Delta smelt.
