View south and downriver toward west wall of Marble Canyon (photograph ES40), just upstream of North Canyon, river mile 20.5. Stratigraphy includes Esplanade Sandstone (lower cliff), Hermit Formation (red slope), Coconino Sandstone (lower part of upper cliff), Toroweap Formation (middle part of upper cliff), and Kaibab Formation (upper part of upper cliff and skyline).
