This collection consists of a digital database of waterwell driller completion data and scans of water well completion forms submitted mostly by the well drillers of wells drilled in PA, but also other government agencies. Location and magnitude information for all Oklahoma earthquakes from 1977 to present. Some seismograms. Catalog of greater than 3.5 magnitude Oklahoma quakes from 1882-1977. Oklahoma earthquake catalog Only Oklahoma quakes are listed in the catalog, but a statewide system of 9 seismograph stations operates continuously to detect and record major ground motion from throughout the world. Some of the information obtained is included on the website.

Estimated between 5,000-10,000 drill holes. Some are filed by county, some by quadrangle and some are not filed. Most consist of folded paper approx. 4-5 inches wide.

These photographs are 9 in. x 9 in. in size and date from 1987-1989. The Maryland counties covered by these photographs include Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Calvert, Carroll, Cecil, Charles, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, and St. Mary’s Counties. These photographs were primarily flown or otherwise acquired by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and reference USGS National Water Information System (NWIS) wells. Continuous, intact vibracores, in 1-m or 5-m sections, collected between 1984-1997, on the Maryland continental shelf by MGS or the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACOE) for the purpose of assessing sediment suitable for beach nourishment. Half of each core, longitudinally, is archived. Since collection, all samples have been stored indoors, but at ambient outdoor temperature and humidity. Bottom Sediment Cores, Maryland Continental Shelf Core repository started out as a good project when funded, but, as funding became scarcer, upkeep of the respository suffered. This collection consists of reports and data from elevation surveys of Arnold, Broad Creek, and Crofton Meadows well fields in Anne Arundel County, MD. The data have been collected annually since the early 1990¿s by Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) personnel to monitor for changes in elevation related to ground-water withdrawals. MGS personnel put together a report based on SHA information.
